When you need help

Common stumbling blocks and steps you can check on the spot, plus where to contact us if you can't solve it.

You wrote it, but it doesn't show on the site

Check these in order.

  1. Does the editor show Saved?
  2. Is the publication status set to Published? Check it in Settings, and save again if you changed it.
  3. Is the publish start still in the future, or has the publish end already passed?

If none of these is the problem, your site may still be waiting to reflect the change. On some sites it takes a little while for updates to appear.

You can't save

You can't save while an image is uploading. Wait for the display to change, then select Save again.

If an error appears, check your connection and try again. The text you wrote is still on screen, so it's safest to try again without closing.

You can't delete an image

You can't delete an image that's used in any entry. Select the workspace name at the top of the screen and open "Media". When you select the image, the entries that use it are listed under "Entries using this media". Remove the image from them and save, and then you can delete it.

You can't send an invitation

Only Owners can send invitations. You also can't send one if you've reached the member limit (3 for a free team). Pending invitations count toward the limit, so open "Settings and plan" > Members > "Invite members", check "Pending invitations", and select "Cancel" on any you don't need.

If you still can't solve it

Contact us from Contact. It helps us check if you include the following.

  • What you were trying to do, and where it stopped
  • When it happened
  • The workspace name and the content involved

Don't include your password or a verification code. We'll never ask for them.

We reply by email to the address you contacted us from. You can continue the same conversation by replying to that email or by opening the link in it. The link stops working after 7 days, but you can have a new one sent to the same address. If you're signed in, open "Support" in account settings to see past conversations.

For how to investigate site display and errors in more detail, see Troubleshooting, which has steps for developers.
